Scheduling Continuing Care Appointments

  • Dental continuing care appointments should be scheduled every 6 months.
  • Verify your insurance plan for coverage, some plans cover 2 times per year, some plans every 6 months.
  • It is important to have regular visits to help in the prevention of decay and establish a relationship with your dentist.
  • Our office will text or email about upcoming appointments. You can call to reschedule at any time.

Scheduling Treatment Appointments

  • Appointments are typically scheduled in the morning.
  • It is okay to eat a light meal before treatment.
  • Using the insurance information provided to us, we will calculate the patient payment due at the time of treatment.
  • Your child can return to school following treatment.

Other Scheduling Information

We always try to stay on time. Because we work with children, occasionally we will run behind schedule because of unanticipated behavior or dental emergencies. Please be patient with us. We want to provide excellent care for your child.

We value your time and appreciate it when you can let us know when you are running late for your appointment or need to reschedule. Should you arrive to the appointment 10 minutes late, we may ask you to reschedule.

We allow one missed appointment. If you call us to notify us of your circumstance, we will be glad to reschedule. Dental appointments are an excused absence from school. Missing school can be kept to a minimum with regular dental care. Because appointment times are reserved for each patient, we ask that you notify our office 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.

  • Early morning and late afternoon appointments are reserved for school age patients. Infants, toddlers, and pre-school aged children are usually seen in the morning or early afternoon, preferably not during their nap time.
